Illustration

I am assuming you are familiar with the Illustration tools, as well as Folders and Layers at this point.  My inspiring goal here was to offer animation orientation help.  I’d like to do Illustration orientation next.  But I’m doing this out of order so I can get to an animation help request in a timely fashion.

Select the Flower Picture Icon at the Left of “Use of Work”

<- [ in ]  This Unit box is saying you are looking at the scale as inches.  Options are cm, mm, in, px and pt.
I live in America, so I'll us Inches to set the size, and standard printer paper is 8.5” wide, by 11” tall.

I want to print this on a standard piece of paper, so I set the dimensions to Width [ 8.5 ], Height [ 11 ], and the Resolution [ 300 ].

Start with Color unless you need a monochromatic image.  You can always convert a Color image to Black & White (monochrome), but you can’t convert B&W to Color.

The Illustration Workspace      (Default, ugly, must FIX!)

A quick video showing me rearranging my toolboxes into my preferred workspace Layout.

Notice where I grab the toolbox to move it, and how the Red Bars appear when I reach a place that the Toolbox will set.

My Illustration Workspace      (SO much better.  In MY opinion.  Other artist's opinions will vary.  YOUR opinion may eventually vary.  Play with tool box layouts, find what works for you.)
