The Tool Bar
Clip Studio Paint has a large number of Tools you will use to make your art.
You'll develop a set of your favorite go-to tools.
<===
The Pen is a Tool
The Tools have SubTools. Subtools are groupings of similar Tools with a variety of settings.
<===
You can duplicate a SubTool (to preserve the original) then tweak it to your liking and save those settings as a brand new SubTool.
Hover over Icons to get the name
The tools themselves are rearrangeable in the Tool Bar, as are the SubTools in their Menu.
So many customization options!
Within each SubTool, there are a number of Customization options you can use to tweak the tools to work just the way you want them.
You'll probably make little adjustments to your go-to tools to make them your own.
Some settings you will turn on/off and adjust on the fly as you work to get them to do what you want
<=== The Circle Resets the Subtool, the Wrench opens the SubTool Detail menu
The SubTool Detail menu is the list of every adjustable setting for the SubTools
that opens when you click the Wrench icon in the tool Property box.
If you click a box by a Setting, and the Eye icon appears, then that setting will appear in the Tool Properties panel and can be adjusted on the fly as you work.
Not all settings are applicable to every tool, but they'll still appear in this menu.
